Before you change browsers
Go to My List and select Create backup. The text box now contains the saved title references and episode checkpoints from this browser. Copy the complete contents into a note or file you control. A screenshot of the box is not an importable backup.
Bring the list into another browser
Open Cinema Deck there, go to My List and paste the text into Restore backup. Select Merge backup. Recognised titles are added to the receiving list, and existing episode checkpoints in that browser are kept. Review the result before discarding your original copy.
Can this recover my old Cinema Deck account?
No. The tool reads backups made by this site's list feature. It cannot access a closed website's account database, recover a forgotten password or convert an unrelated app export. If you have an old written list, search those titles here and save them again.
If a backup will not import
Check for missing beginning or ending characters. The tool rejects unreadable text and a backup from another brand. Unknown titles or invalid reminders may be skipped. The message reports the result instead of silently calling an incomplete import successful.
